Abstract: Introduction. The Republic of Moldova is in the top of the world producers of anabolic steroids, illegal substances in most EU states, USA and Russia. In the present the abuse of steroids is widespread. Substances most commonly used in r. Moldova are: metandienone, testosterone, oxandrol, oandrolon, oximetol. The purpose of the study. Appreciation of benefits and risks of using anabolic in r. Moldavia. Material and methods. A study on the consumption of anabolic preparations and the most common side effects reported to 35 sports consumers was conducted. Moldavia. result. The risks and benefits of anabolic preparations depend on the administered dose, the period of use, previous administration, etc. Based on the study, it was found that at 11 testosterone consumers there were disorders of sleep and nausea, in 16 people who used metandienone were reported headaches, nausea, acne and depression. At 6 oximetol consumers were determined headache, sexual disorders and depression. At 2 athletes who used Oxandrolon – acne, sexual disorders, aggression and alopecia. According to the reported ones, the most common adverse reactions recorded in consumers were: headache, nausea, acne and sexual disorders. The age of the questioned persons was between 18-26. conclusions. The most commonly used preparations in the Republic of Moldova are: testosterone, metandienone, oximetol and oxandrol. The main risks of anabolic preparations are neurological, cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, dermatological and sexual disorders.

The Most Commonly Use Substances in Moldova has: metandienone, testosterone, oxandrolone, nandrolone, oximetolone. The Aim of the Study. Appreiation of the Benefits and Risks of Using Anabolic Preparations in the R. Moldavia. Material and Methods. It was a study on the consumption of anabolics and the Most Common Adverse Reactions Reported in 35 Sports Consumers from R. Moldavia. Results. The Risks and Benefits of Anabolic Preparations Depending on the Dose, the period of use, Previous Administration etc. Based on the study it was found that in 11 testosterone users were determinate sleep disorders and nausea, in 16 people who used metandienon we reported headaches, nausea, acne and depression. Headache, Sexual Disorders and Depression Were Determined in 6 Oximetolon users. In 2 Athletes Who used Oxandrolon – acne, sexual disorders, aggression and alopecia. According to the reports, the Most Common Adoment Reaction Reactions Recorded in Consumers Were: Headache, Nausea, Acne and Sexual Disorders. The Age of the Persons Questioned Was Between 18-26 Yars. Concludes. The Most Commonly Used Preparations in the Republic of Moldova has: testosterone, metandienone, oximetolone and oxandrolone. The Main Risks of Anabolic Preparations has neurological, cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, dermatological and sexual disorders.
